Dan Jordan
Soon after graduating from high school with honors, Author, Dan Jordan joined the U.S. Army. Following an honorable discharge, Dan entered the field of law enforcement where he has enjoyed a successful career in the county of Los Angeles for over two decades. Today, he is married (Dan knows that a man is not complete until he is married, then he is finished:), with two wonderful kids (and 2 out of 3 isn’t bad:), living in Southern California.
Just like other first responders, Dan has had his share of work related stress. However, Dan has been fortunate to have two successful businesses which has helped provide a balance in his life. One of the businesses is as a motivational speaker, where he seamlessly employs his other talent and career of magic and comedy as a professional magician. Dan has performed thoughout the United States at such well-known establishments as the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood.
John Hicks
Born, John Bryant Hicks, he was one of eleven children growing up in a three-bedroom home in a suburb of Los Angeles. He attended Parochial school for most of his school years, graduating in 1983. For the last 20 years, John has been a Los Angeles City Firefighter where he now holds the rank of Firefighter/Paramedic. Today, John is married with three children and lives in Southern California. He began his writing career by accident. What was supposed to be a 15-page idea for a movie soon became a book of just under 200 pages, and he hasn't had a good night's sleep since. Waking up in all hours of the night with ideas in his head, he has written two other novella length books and is currently working on finishing his third.
